There are at least two Pechmann reactions. One is for the synthesis of
coumarins from phenols and beta-ketoesters and is the most well known. The
other is the cycloaddition of actyelenes with diazomethane to form
pyrazoles. Descriptions and leading references can be found in the Merck
Index.
